Aichi, Japan, January 11, 2005 - Toyoda Gosei Co., Ltd. (president: Takashi Matsuura) today announced the establishment of a new manufacturing subsidiary in San Antonio, Texas, U.S.A. Toyoda Gosei Texas, LLC (TGTX) was set up on the property of Toyota Motor Manufacturing Texas, Inc.(TMMTX), which is slated to start operations in 2006, targeting the strengthening of relations in the region and improving the efficiency of distribution systems. Seventeen other suppliers participated in the project by building their plants on the premises. The new company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Toyota Gosei North America, will produce for TMMTX. Four executives have been appointed to the board of directors. Established in January 2005, the plant is scheduled to commence production in October 2006.
