The Functional Parts Business Unit develops and manufactures hoses,
seals and valves, which are used for engine, power train, fuel, and
steering systems. The main products are engine covers and air intake
ducts for engine systems, brake hoses, power steering hoses, and constant
velocity joint boots for steering and power train systems, and fuel
hoses and fuel tank caps for fuel systems.

Many products in this category play an important role to support the
fundamental auto functions, running, turning, and stopping. Among
the products above, TG has captured the largest market shares of brake
hoses and fuel caps in Japan.
Our constant goal in developing new technologies is modularity because
it leads to lower development and production costs, and upgraded products.

on now are (1) emission control and environmental measures, (2) greater
reliability, (3) and lighter weight.
TG promotes less waste in production and the development, in which
recyclable materials are used, as part of its environmental measures.

theme for us since many products in this area are important to ensure
safe driving. We have established severe quality criteria to pursue
high quality products. Developing modules, reducing product sizes
