Toyoda Gosei’s Cota® Microwave Power Supply Technology To Be Exhibited at CES 2024
Kiyosu, Japan, December 26, 2023: Toyoda Gosei Co., Ltd.’s next-generation wireless power supply (microwave power supply) technology will be exhibited at the booth of Ossia Inc. (co-developer; USA) at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES)1 2024 in Las Vegas, USA over four days starting January 9, 2024.
Toyoda Gosei has been working together with Ossia since 2020 to develop the Cota2 wireless power technology that can supply power wirelessly to electronic devices over a distance of several meters using radio frequency. A wireless power receiver for mobile phones (Cota Forever Magnetic Charger) and AA battery type receiver (Cota Forever Battery) will be exhibited at CES. By attaching Cota Forever Magnetic Charger to a mobile phone , power sent from a Cota Hub can be received to charge the smartphone without the use of charging cables. Cota wireless power technology, including these products will be demonstrated at the Ossia booth in the Venetian Conference Hall #52339.
