Toyoda Gosei Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Aichi, Japan; President: Tadashi Arashima) Optoelectronics Business Unit Laboratory in Miwa Technical Center (location: Aichi, Japan) has acquired JIS Q 17025: 2005 (ISO/IEC 17025:2005) [Note 1], and has been recognized as an EIS LM-80-2008 [Note 2] accredited laboratory by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

An LM80 accredited laboratory enables Toyoda Gosei to more rapidly develop innovative LED products for the illumination market. This action is another step in the ongoing mission for high quality products with a positive environmental impact.
