Announcement of Management and Organizational Changes
Kiyosu, Japan, June 17, 2021: Toyoda Gosei Co., Ltd. held an election for Directors and Audit & Supervisory Board Members at the Annual Shareholders’ Meeting on June 17. After the Shareholders’ Meeting, the Board decided to transfer some Directors and Corporate Officers and to make changes in organizational responsibilities. Organizational reform and personnel change were also carried out on the same day.

4．Organizational Changes
Organizations directly under the President
▽The name of the Environment Division will be changed to the Carbon Neutrality and Environment Promotion Division, which will implement a range of policies across the company to achieve carbon neutrality.
Corporate Strategy Headquarters
▽The new Digital Transformation Department will pursue the rebuilding of processes and mechanisms from the perspective of what is best for the entire company, as Toyoda Gosei seeks to rationalize corporate operations and create new businesses.
Research and Development Headquarters and Production Headquarters (reorganization)
▽The name of the Production Headquarters will be changed to the Automotive Business Headquarters.
▽The engineering divisions and Performance Evaluation and Engineering Division in the Product Development Center will be moved to the Automotive Business Headquarters, and the Product Development Center will be closed.
With these changes, Toyoda Gosei will
- Integrate operations from planning to production in each business area in the Automotive Business Headquarters, and strengthen cost and product competitiveness.
- The Research and Development Headquarters will focus energy on the development of new products, accelerating the development of key products.
