Toyoda Gosei Announces Changes in Corporate Officer Responsibilities, Organizational Changes, and Personnel Changes
Kiyosu, Japan, December 25, 2023: Toyoda Gosei Co., Ltd. announces changes in corporate officer responsibilities, organizational changes and regular personnel changes that will go into effect as of January 1, 2024.

2．Organizational Changes(division level and higher)
Research and Development Headquarters
▽A new Module Planning and Development Project will be established to promote modularization of products to better respond to automakers’ production technology innovations with the progress in BEVs.
▽To promote the development of a wide range of solutions across the mobility and new fields, the product development operations of the Mobility Development Division will be transferred to the New Value Development Division.
▽To speed up material development and realize the early commercialization of new materials that will contribute to carbon neutrality and a circular economy, the material development operations of the New Value Development Division and the Material Engineering Division will be brought together in a new Material Development Division.
FC and WS Business Headquarters (merger)
▽With the aim of achieving the goals in the company’s 2030 Business Plan, the FC Business Headquarters and the WC Business Headquarters will be merged in a newly established FC and WS Business Headquarters to achieve business growth by leveraging Toyoda Gosei’s expertise in rubber field, and to execute more efficient overall operations.
The development operations of the WS Engineering Division and the WS Production Engineering Division will be brought together in a new WS Development Division.
The operations of the WS Production Engineering Division will be incorporated into the WS Engineering Division.
▽To accelerate the development of products for battery electric vehicles (BEVs), the development and engineering operations related to BEVs in the EV and FCEV Development Division will be merged into the FC Engineering Division. In addition, for speedy execution from development to production of high pressure hydrogen tanks with a view toward the greater use of hydrogen, the operations related to high pressure hydrogen tanks in the EV and FCEV Development Division will be merged into the FCEV Business Planning and Development Division.
