Kiyosu, Japan, September 16, 2026: Toyoda Gosei Co., Ltd. is gait analysis technology using its original healthcare AI insole working to commercialize preventive medicine services that will lead to early detection and improvement of physical disorders with This is done through collaboration with local governments, companies, and medical institutions. One part of this is participation in an effort for the realization of the “Smart Health City” being promoted by Osaka Prefecture in Japan.

Today, Japan and other developed countries have shrinking populations with fewer children, which means that health promotion and preventive medicine are increasingly important. Specifically related to this is ongoing international research on the connection between walking function and health status. Toyoda Gosei is researching and developing gait analysis AI that combines original thin rubber pressure sensors and skeletal detection technology with photographic images.

Osaka Prefecture is working to socially implement its “WEB31 PHR2 Integration Platform,” and as one of its technical partners, Toyoda Gosei will provide its gait analysis technology (Gait Digital Biomarker Analysis AI) using insoles and cameras to commercial facilities, office buildings, and other locations in the prefecture. Through this Osaka Prefecture and Toyoda Gosei aims to contribute to the extension of healthy life expectancy and optimization of social welfare spending.
