Toyoda Gosei Signs Partnership Agreement with China Automotive Technology & Research Center in the Field of Automobile Safety
Kiyosu, Japan, September 25, 2026: Toyoda Gosei Co., Ltd.’s regional headquarters in China, Toyoda Gosei (China) Investment Co., Ltd., has concluded a partnership agreement for safety standards and technical innovations with the CATARC Component Technology (Tianjin) Co., Ltd., one of group companies of the China Automotive Technology & Research Center (CATARC), an organization that formulates safety standards and other regulations in China.
Competition in China is fierce with the spread of electric vehicles and the emergence of new automakers, and Toyoda Gosei (China) Investment Co., Ltd. is managing its business there in response to changes in the market environment. On the other hand, the company is leveraging its advanced technical expertise to drive development and product proposals that meet the needs of customers in China. The company aims to work together with CATARC in accelerating development by increasing the use of CAE technology* and other means, and developing products that anticipate local needs.
