In order to respond promptly to customer expectations in the growing and ever more competitive Indonesian market, Toyoda Gosei Co., Ltd. is making P.T. INOAC TG Indonesia (ITG) its subsidiary by October 31, 2013, thereby strengthening its operating base for automotive sealing products in the country.
ITG was established in 2004 through a joint investment from INOAC Corporation (INOAC) and Toyoda Gosei, and is selling weatherstrips and other automotive sealing products to manufactures operating in Indonesia.
Toyoda Gosei is increasing its investment ratio in ITG from 49% to 51% by purchasing 2% of the 51% share currently owned by INOAC for roughly 10 million yen. This involves the change of company’s name to P.T. TG INOAC Indonesia (TGII).
The company aim to increase its 2016 sales in Indonesia to 300 Indonesian rupiah, approximately 1.5 times the current sales amount.
