  2. Interior and Exteriors

Interior and exterior parts contribute to comfortable and attractive cabin spaces and exteriors.

Interiors

1Instrument panel

Instrument panels, also called dashboards, are large components that house instruments and meters, the audio system, glove box and more.

2Console boxes

Console boxes sit between the front seats and function as storage and an armrest. Various types of decoration are used on the upper panel, including coatings and wood grain.

3LED driver alert lighting system

Decorative lighting added to the function that alerts drivers using light. Contributes to the creation of a safe and pleasant moving space.

4Compact wireless charging holder

By simplifying the charger structure, these holders are 60% smaller than previous products and can be installed in confined spaces.

5LED graphic lighting

Patterns using light and shadow impart a fresh impression in vehicle cabins at night.

6Armrests with heaters

Power consumption was reduced by half with a structural design that achieves low thermal energy loss, to meet the power saving needs (lower energy consumption) of BEVs.

7Ornamental panels

A horizontal base panel located on the passenger side of the instrument panel. It is decorated using interior illumination, paint, film, surface coating and other techniques.

8Registers

Registers efficiently direct the flow of air from the air conditioning unit to the desired location. For this smooth operation is a must.

9Console uppers

A panel located on the front side of the console box. In addition to a glove compartment, products that also have a charging feature are available.

10Cup holders

Cup holders are installed in various places in the vehicle cabin to hold drinks. They must be strong, durable, convenient, and compact.

11Glove compartments

This is the large storage box set in front of the front passenger seat. It is an important part that needs to be comfortable and easy to open and close, as well as durable and safe in collisions.

12LED cabin lights

Low power consuming, long-life, and low heat generating cabin interior lighting using LED light source.

13LED lamp units

LED units are used in illumination of various parts of the vehicle, including floor lighting and compartment lighting. They are smaller and consume less energy than conventional light bulbs.

14Lighting illumination scuff plates

Scuff plates are attached to the door threshold to prevent scuffs and scratches when people get in and out of the vehicle. Illuminated scuff plates emit light by LED for decoration.

15Front pillar garnishes

These parts decorate the pillar between the windshield and side window. They also function to absorb impact during collisions and cover side curtain airbags.

16Assist grips

Passengers can hold on to these grips while riding in a vehicle to support their posture. When not being used, the grips automatically fold into the ceiling.

17Light source modules for spot lamps

Map lamp units use LEDs as their light source. These units are set in the ceiling console and direct spots of light to the hand area of passengers.

18LED lamp modules for inside handles

These units illuminate the interior door handle area with a soft light to improve visibility at night. They also give the interior cabin a cozy atmosphere.

19Center clusters

Center clusters are located in the center of the instrument panel, and contain audio, navigation system, and air conditioning controls and switches. They are one of the most defining elements in vehicle interior design.

20Defroster nozzles

These are outlets for air to defog the inside of the windshield. They must function to control airflow for rapid defogging while also having a compact shape.

Exterior Products

21Radiator grilles

Can be used with various designs based on painting, plating, hot-stamping and other decorative technologies and precision molding technologies.

22Back door garnishes

These products are attached to the rear of a vehicle and have a strong design element. They are placed so as to highlight the attractiveness of the license plate lamb, door handle, and rear camera.

23Rear spoilers

These products are installed on the rear of vehicles to give superior design and stability during driving.

24Millimeter wave compatible emblems

These emblems cover millimeter-wave radar sensors used in preventive safety systems. They must allow the passage of millimeter-wave radar while also having a luminous design.

25Illuminated emblems

These illuminated emblems present a forward-looking image for battery electric vehicles (BEVs).

26Luminescent millimeter wave compatible emblems

We have developed new emblems that are both transparent to millimeter wave radar and luminescent—a world’s first.
